Psychological counselling for employees
Confidential one-to-one counselling for mental health at work — online, by arrangement, and embedded in your organisation's workplace health management.
People rarely reach out at the first sign of strain. They wait until a demanding phase has already cost them their sleep, their patience or their sense of competence — and then they wait again, for an appointment somewhere in the wider support system. A counselling offer employees can reach quickly, without paperwork and without explaining themselves to anyone internally, removes most of that delay.
Employees bring the full range of what makes work hard: sustained stress and overwhelm, an exhaustion that no longer lifts at the weekend, conflict with a manager or within a team, the aftermath of restructuring. Just as often it concerns something that arrives from outside and inevitably travels in with them — a separation, a bereavement, caring for an ageing parent, a difficult transition. Counselling gives all of that a contained, confidential place to be worked through, instead of quietly settling into performance and team climate.
Confidentiality is the foundation, and it holds without exception. Nothing a person brings into a session is reported back to the employer — not the content, not the themes, not an impression. Where an organisation funds the offer, it receives only what it needs administratively: an aggregate confirmation that agreed sessions were used. Employees are told this explicitly at the outset, because an offer people do not trust is an offer people do not use.
Sessions are 60 minutes by video, in English or German, at times arranged directly between the individual and me. Organisations typically make an agreed number of sessions available per person per year. If someone needs a different kind of support than counselling can offer, I say so openly and help them identify an appropriate next step within the wider support system — that clarity is part of the value, not a failure of it.
For employers this tends to be the least expensive element of workplace health provision and the one with the shortest path to effect, because it reaches people while a situation is still workable. It also sits naturally alongside the group formats and leadership work described on the For Organisations overview.
